Jammu and Kashmir Population 2020: Literacy Rate, Growth Rate, Gender Ratio

Jammu and Kashmir, the northernmost state of India is called the paradise on the earth for its scintillating natural beauty. In Jammu, Hindus constitute 65% of the population, Muslims 31% and Sikhs, 4%; In Ladakh, Buddhists constitute about 46% of the population, the remaining being Muslims.

According to the 2011 evaluation, the number of inhabitants in the state was 12,548,925 and it is the lone state with a larger population of Muslims. It has an International Border with China and in addition Line of Control (LOC) separates Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistan.
