Chhattisgarh Population 2020: Gender Ratio, Census 2021, Literacy Rate

The state was formed on 1 November 2000 by partitioning 16 Chhattisgarhi-speaking southeastern region of Madhya Pradesh. Raipur was made the capital. Being another state when contrasted with MP, it has been growing at a sound rate. Additionally, one of the finest cricket stadium in India is built in Raipur and it has hosted several IPL matches as well.

As per the Census India 2011, Chhattisgarh has 56,50,724 households, population of 2,55,45,198 of which 1,28,32,895 are males and 1,27,12,303 are females. The population of children between age 0-6 is 36,61,689 which is 14.33% of total population.
